Transport

Pearson's Grain and Transport owns its own Transport Fleet, comprising a fleet of mainly Kenworths. More than 90% of our cartage comprises grain from our own storages. The fleet carts to Melbourne and backloads 5 days per week. In addition Pearson's freight arm extends to the servicing of the grape and hay industries within Victoria and southern NSW. Pearson's Grain and Transport also sources from a pool of approximately 80 subcontractors throughout Victoria, NSW and South Australia.

Managing our own Transport fleet gives us and the grower the flexibility to arrange timely on-farm pick up of grain and delivery of other products to the grower. During harvest, our transport fleet is on hand to pick up the grain direct from the grower and deliver into our storage facilities.

Pearson's Grain and Transport is Mass Management and Trucksafe Accredited giving not only our customers the best possible service but also providing a safe working environment for our loyal truck operators. Our truck operators are extremely professional and acknowledge the responsibility they have whilst driving a truck on our roads.
